  1. Burj al-Arab

Dubai just seems to have a knack for a lot of record-breaking structures. After the biggest shopping mall in the world, the tallest building in the world and the largest flower garden, Dubai added to its list another masterpiece; the Burj Al-Arab which is the tallest hotel in the world. This magnificent structure has an exterior that lights up in the night in a choreographed show of captivating colors, standing at a massive 321 meters high on an artificial island on the Dubai coastline! This hotel is one of the most expensive hotels in the world at the moment with its most luxurious suits costing about $15,000 per night.

Located on the Jumeirah road, the Burj Al-Arab has an underwater restaurant where you can dine and see the sealife for real! The restaurant is a glass-covered dining room that allows you to have a view of fishes swimming across and saying hello. On the same Burj Al-Arab, there is a California-style fusion restaurant scape for you if you have extra more to spend. You can also have a Skyview at the bar on the 27th floor. The experience here is nothing short of awesomely captivating!

  1. Dubai Creek & Al Seef District

The Dubai creek is the part that separates the city into two towns, having the Bur Dubai to the South and the Deira to the North. This town has a rich history that goes back to about 4,000 years ago with the modern era beginning just about 1830. The Dubai Creek banks have the Dhow wharfage along its bank on the North of Al_maktoum bridge. You can visit this place for sightseeing of the dhows anchored here over 100yrs ago.

And on the Bur Dubai side of the creek, the waterfront has been regenerated as the Al-Seef district with a waterfront that has a traditional coral-block and limestone buildings, a floating market and dew shops selling crafts. This is a great place to be for tourist who wants to have a view of the waterfronts. Tourists can travel across the creek via any of the dhows or on the abra (small wooden ferry) between the ferry points on the Bur Dubai and the Deira banks.
